colin turner
Anybody know of such an animal to deliver 6x12 negs on 5x4 from 70mm perforated film?
tedharris
Linhof used to make a 70mm rollfilm back but it did not deliver 6x12 frames ... I dont recall the frame size but I believe it was either 6x7 or 6x9.
scott_walton2
I know the one I have is 6x7 but a 6x12 would be great!
bob_crosley
Calumet makes a slide-in 6/12 holder: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3815096069&category=29979 Horseman makes one as well, and I think Graflex made one called the RH50. Aoresteen
All the 70mm backs I've seen are 6x7 or 6x6 or 645. There are 120 6x12 backs and I think at one time the Calumet 6x12 was available for 220 film (only 120 is available now). 70mm perf is a dying format. I have 2 70mm backs for my 'Blad and I can no longer get Plus-X or Tri-X unless I order 36 100" rolls @ $100 + per roll. I'm going to have to switch to Plus-X Areo film once my Tri-X is gone. If you want to shoot C41 then there is plenty of 70mm perf film available. E6 film in 70mm is available but is very expensive. My reccomendation is to get a 120 6x12 back. Horseman, Arca Swiss, and Calumet make them.
phillip_p._dimor
Perhaps you could purchase a Graflex RH70 and widen/cut the frame with a dremel and file? It might not be pretty, and there is the risk of trashing the thing.. Or even pay a machine shop to do it for you..
