tom5
I recently bought some Leica items and in the mix of things is a very elegant old style metal lens cap. This is the type with the inner circle (with Leica embossed) is raised above the flat rim, not the type of lens cap with the raised rim. The inner diameter of the felt is about 63mm. I've never seen such a large lens cap in this style. There was a Summarex for sale on Ebay, with a similar looking cap. Do I have a Summarex lens cap? What other lenses might it fit, if any? peter_evans4
Maybe the 90mm Fujinon on the GW690II megaleica.
mark_sampson
Sounds like it could fit the original, howitzer-like 90/2 Summicron. That lens took a 48mm filter but the outside diameter was quite a bit larger.
kajabbi
If it fits the Summarex, it will also fit my favorite lens, The Hektor 125MM.
