fotografz
There are so many beautiful, romantic and classic images shared here, I got to wondering if that's all other folks shoot. Sometimes I get a lively, fun group that'll do some fun stuff. And some of it actually makes the album. At the very least, it breaks the ice with some wedding parties. Share if you have them.<div></div>

ShunCheung
Nice shot Marc; I really like it. May I ask what lens (and camera) did you use? I'd like to know the camera too since a 20mm lens works differently on, for example, a 1Dii.

beepy
Marc, great shot. Not goofy - creative and probably relaxing to the group and affecting (positively) the rest of the shots!
fotografz
EJ, I had coffee shooting out my nose when I saw your shot. Hilarious! Was the groom a Fireman? Asim, yes, flat on my back ... and exactly why I don't wear a nice suit to shoot weddings. Shun, Canon 1Ds with a 16-35L @ 16mm. You'd need something wider yet on a 10D, although a 16-35 would work okay. Maybe a 15mm fish-eye would work also.
._._z
That's a great shot, Marc. How did you light to fully cover that ultra wideangle?
fotografz
Thanks AZ. It was an on bracket 550EX with the 17mm diffuser flipped out, plus a Stofen diffuser. The camera was on AV and I set the flash to about -1 stop because they were so close to me and wearing white.

ben_rubinstein___mancheste
"I set the flash to about -1 stop because they were so close to me and wearing white." um, I usually go for +1 for white, is digital different?

fotografz
Ben, yes digital is different. There is zero tolerance for overexposure and gobs of latitude for underexposure IF you are shooting at a low ISO like 100 or 160. The opposite of neg. film. So I tend to favor underexposure and lift the image in the RAW developer while lowering the contrast. As it was, even at - 1 parts of the Bride's dress were dangerously close to being blown out.
