yian nyc
Any one know of a back pack just like the Domke 803? I have the 803, which I absolutely love. I use it everyday. It either carries my dSLR and two lenses (unmounted) or my laptop. Sometimes, just files and books. however, it gets a little too heavy for my shoulder at the end of a day, and I have back problems. I want to distribute the weight better with a backpack. Criteria: (or why I love the Domke 803) a. Does not scream camera bag (not even whisper it) b. Yet well constructed c. Not too much padding d. Not too little padding e. Just the right number of pockets. f. easy access (single metal clip), no zips, etc. g. yet faily secure h. nice neutral colour (tan) i. perfect size for me j. CANVAS, which I love much more than ballistic nylon or colourful synthetics.
awahlster
Check out the Canon 200EG backpack not to big built very well cost very little $45.00 new off ebay. forest green and black doesn't look so much like a camera backpack especialy if you remove the Canon Logo. VERY VERY comfortable with up to a 20Lb load We did three weeks in England and Germany and I was very happy with it. The well padded straps and waist belt work well together. The back has a mesh that really helps allow air to your back. All and all a great backpack for a very little money. I also have a LOWE-PRO Classic Trekker which is huge carries the weight of a small truck and I tend to over fill a lot LOL
