To my great surprise I went to a major aquarium to see whether the

management would have interest in purchasing a series of posters

that I had made for sale in their gift shop. I was told that the

images were exactly what they wanted and that they would like to use

the images to also be framed and posted throughout the aquarium on a

permamnent basis in addition to being sold in their gift shop. I

have no idea whether I should also charge to have my posters used to

decorate their aquarium or should the advertisement of my work be

sufficient? Thanks in advance for your help.

Quit while you're ahead ... before they charge you for the advertising space you are taking on their walls. You might ask them to put a ticket alongside saying 'For Sale in the gift shop'. Most outlets calculate the value of their advertising wall space like shelf space in $ per square foot. Count yourself blessed.
