couple of bodies and the macro lenses and bellows system.

Fortunately I have the Canon gear, so I am not tempted

by this stuff.

I was curious as to what you thought some of this might

be

worth and what to look for, for possible problems. From what I was told the

person was involved with nature photography including macro work.

Two Nikon F3s, with MD-4 drives, regular view finders

and<span style="mso-spacerun:

new. Have the manuals.</

MF-23 Multi-Control back, this looks brand new, not

even

used, the batteries(Sony) are still wrapped.

Steven - I think a good starting place is to go to KEH (keh.com) and check out

the prices for the equipment there. Many folks, me included, think that KEH

prices are always somewhat high, but I've done business with them from time

to time. You can get a good feel for value from their site. You may even find

the Bolex equipment there, as well.

Many lenses in the Nikon system have been around for so long that there are many design changes over the years. E.g. there are 9 different versions of the 300/4.5 lens, 3 for the 400/3.5 and 6 for the 600/5.6! In general the ED glass models will obtain top dollar over the older ones. You will really want to know exactly which versions of the lenses you have.
See here for a detailed list organized by serial numbers.

Steven, Try posting it for sale on this site, if it's really nice you'll get a quick response and quick sale, I know there are a couple of items there that I would like to have. Many buyers are scared off by the e*bay thing, a lot of it is nice stuff, but then there's the stuff that met with gravity. I have had nothing but excellent results in purchasing items on this site, But in answer to your question, I search the bay quite regularly and find that it so much is determined by the photos and history of the item, doing a refined search you can see the price difference.

I have thought about selling the equipment here but since I am selling for the

college I have to be careful. It could be perceived that I am selling it to a

"friend" with a little deal on the side. With ebay it is open to the highest bidder.

The auctioned can be monitored by anyone that has my seller ID, I have a

paper trail of the transaction, the item will sell in 7-10 days. I also have a

deadline to get the money in hand by the middle of Febuary.
