jeffrey_abelson
Hi everyone: It seems I dodged the bullet - I overpaid for a PD Finder ($171) and have the opportunity to return it to the seller - here's my question: since I've already paid $8 for shipping and will have to ship it back, should I keep the finder, find a better deal, or get a good handheld. I have a Flashmeter III with 10% spot, but it's big and clumsy for walking about and i can't see it in low light. What meter would you recommend that's small, accurate and can be seen at night - I don't need spot as the PD finder is center weighted. THANKS! jeffrey_abelson
Yay for me! I got the seller to refund $25 - so instead of $171 I paid $146 - a very decent price for the PD finder - and I shot 3 rolls of slide film and the exposures are excellent! I really enjoyed being freed up from a handheld meter (for walking around the city, the museum and the botanical gardens) - my first MF experience where I really felt like I was shooting 35mm.
