fast_primes
The following Canon EOS thread discusses Sigma wide angle AF lenses as alternatives to Canon's own EOS brands and the use of Olympus Zuiko lenses on Canon cameras, including DLSRs.
The two noteworthy points are:
1 - An adaptor exists that allows use of OM mount lenses in stop down mode on Canon EOS slrs.
2 - The HUGE size of the Sigma AF wide angles as compared to Olympus lenses of the same speed!!!
Fast_Primes
neild
Hi Fast,
This has been covered on this forum previously. I hope this helps you if you are considering the hybrid system of OM/EOS. I can say from personal experience that it works great! I don't own any Canon lenses so far, but still shoot quite frequently with my 10D - a wonderful camera indeed :-)
koichi_sekiyama2
Yup. Some Zuikolists are using such a mount adaptor to attach their Zuikoes to the digital EOS, which are not full size format though, and evaluate the lens performance. I also use a mount adaptor to attach my Zuikoes to the film EOS. http://www.kindai-inc.co.jp/mount_omeos.htm
