jailson_marques
Hi, I have a T90 and a F1N bodies, with some lenses, such as zoom 24- 35mm f/3.5 L, 35-105 mm f/3.5 and 70-210mm f/4. All of theses lenses mount well on F1N and show the maximum aperture. Otherwise on T90 bodies these lenses show the maximum aperture up to f/4.5. Any ideas on what can be happening? Thanks in anticipation
awahlster
Yep the aperture signal pin plunger in the body is out of adjustment.
pensacolaphoto
This is interesting. I have no problems with my T90 bodies ... so far.
dpowis
I have had a sort of similar problem with a T90 I had bought in England (I live in France). There was some kind of a shift on the minimum aperture pin, but it was actually an electronic problem : one of the switch of the position reader for the pin wasn't working. I had it changed by the store.
John Crowe
It can also be the lens not mounting correctly but if it does it with all of your lenses than this is unlikely.
alan_swartz
Yes, the maximum aperture signal pin in the camera needs to be adjusted, or the switch contacts are faulty. If the lenses all read slow by the same amount, or nearly so, I'd suspect the adjustment. I have one T90 that suffered from this problem. When the switch contacts fail, the readings can be quite far off, perhaps something like f/3.5 for an f/1.8 lens. The adjustment is locked with thread locking compound, so "don't try this at home." You will definitely strip the slot out of the adjustment screw.
jailson_marques
Thank you very much for the informations. I?ll take my T90 to a technician to solve this problem.
