michael_glavan
Will it hurt your camera when your at a hockey game allday and then you bring your camera back indoors at room temp.(70degrees)? Will there be lots of condensation that gets inside and wrecks the camera?Any feedback will help.
michael_glavan
Sorry everyone i ment to ask: Will shooting in a hockey arena wreck your camera? Sorry for the typo
2yellowdogs
Short answer - no. Yes, you'll get some condensation that will evaporate as the camera reaches room temperature. But I've done this hundreds of times with both film and digital cameras with no damage.<div></div>
Jerry_
If in doubt, take a large zip lock bag. Put the camera into the bag before you leave the hockey game. Let the camera and bag 'warm up' near the door when you get home. About 60 to 90 minutes and your equipment should be at room temperature.
lex_jenkins
Probably not. Even my Olympus C-3040Z digicam, an ordinary P&S type, handles changes in temperature and humidity extreme enough to cause condensation to literally drip from the camera. No problems.
