joshroot
Can you be more specific regarding how you are trying to upload images? If you are using the java based uploader from the "upload photos" link (URL: http://www.photo.net/photodb/add-photo ) then there should be no size restriction. If you are using the backup legacy "basic single photo uploader" (URL: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo-add ) then your image needs to be smaller than 1500x1500 pixels.

If you are trying to attach an image to a forum post, it can be any size. But if you want it to display inline, it needs to be smaller than 700x700 pixels. If it is larger than that, it will still attach to the forum post, it will just show up as a link rather than an image.

joshroot
Ahhhh,

That is different. Your personal "portrait" of yourself for your member page (you can see mine here as an example: http://www.photo.net/photodb/user?user_id=20462) has different requirements. Since it isn't a gallery photo and isn't intended to be displayed in the same way, it doesn't need to be as big.The file needs to be under 200K in size for the bio page portrait.
dabar
The last few days I have been having Great Difficulty uploading a single photo to a folder. I get a 705 - UNABLE TO CONNECT TO SERVER error. I have used both Firefox 12 and Google Chrome, with the same result. After several hours, and ten or so tries, I MAY manage to get one image to upload.
This Is Very Frustrating! It Has been happening, off-and-on for around a week.
