White Balance

I already posted this as a suggestion on a thread but I keep coming across it.

Everyone asking about white balance and using a white card. Here is my

suggestion that I posted earlier. I think it is worth reposting as a stand

alone so everyone can see it. I don't go anywhere without it.

I have been reading in the sports forum about settings and lighting and

flash and have gotten a lot of good ideas the last couple days. White balance

keeps coming up and I have found the Expo Disc. It is an amazing tool. You can

see it at http://www.expodisc.com and view a video of how it works. I am using

it for basketball, Portrait shots, Nature. It is becoming my most used tool. I

haven't been using a flash at the games so I am anxious to see how it works with

the flash inside. Anywhere else I have to make sure I shot the light source. The

difference between the Expodisc and Expocap is Expodisc is suppose to be more

calibrated according to there customer service. Again Thank you everyonne for
