Show a picture of the bulb holding part of the flash gun.

There are some designed to hold the big bayonet #5 bulb, the smaller M2 or M3 bulb, or the AG-1.

Looking at some pictures that I see, it takes the bayonet base #5 or #25.

There are adaptors for some bulbs, but those won't work right with this design. They work with ones that have the bulb socket in the center of the bowl.

I have two old Agfa flashguns one with a short PC style cable and the other a hot shoe style. Both take the AG 1 press- in bulbs that need no larger metal bayonet style. Likely that is what you got if I had to take a stab, especially if the flash receptacles are small and have a fan shape surround reflector.

My favorite flashgun ever, which I used for many years until I got my 283, is the Agfalux C. Somewhere along the way, I lost it. (Or maybe it is still in my parents house.)

Not so long ago, when I found out the name, I found one for a low price on eBay. It uses flashcubes, and is very small. It has a case that slides onto some camera straps, so it is easy to keep around for when you need it.

But a web search for Agfa and KL shows that the one the OP has is much bigger. The reflector is solid, not fan shaped, and holds the bulb from the bottom. Smaller bulbs, even with an adaptor, would not center appropriately.

It might be easier, though, for the OP to get a flash unit that uses the AG-1 bulbs, than to find the #5 or #25 bulbs.
