cj.mccormack Posted February 15, 2007 Share Posted February 15, 2007 After having my post about contrasty shots moved from the 'Street & Documentary' forum for (I presume) being off topic. I have a question about the forum itself. I will admit that when I posted it I was a little unsure as to where it should go because it was quite a general query and potentially applied to all the areas of photography on the list. In the end I picked 'Street & Documentary' because that was the genre of the pictures I was asking about (although I do freely admit that the question ITSELF was not about street or documentary photography and therefore understand totally why it was moved). So my question is: Is this ("Casual Conversation") the place to post general photography queries (techniques, terms, beginners type questions)? If it is b&w film, maybe, B&W Photo - Film & Processing since it may be a darkroom or emulsion issue. If digital, maybe the Digital Darkroom forum since it is likely to be an image editing in software issue.
