Michael R Freeman
Hunt's Photo & Video at 520 Commonwealth Ave would be a short cab ride away. They carry 120 B&W film. http://www.huntsphotoandvideo.com/listing.cfm?box=1&cid=21&CFID=3598330&CFTOKEN=b52af5afbb3036ed-991246B6-1372-4D16-BE35C742DA5FA4EA&jsessionid=ce303444421175094183606
ilkka_nissila
Calumet Photo next to Cambridgeside Galleria (on Bent Street I think) has an excellent selection of films.
charles_stobbs3
There's also a Hunt's Photo about two blocks from the Oak Grove stop on the Orange Line (rapid transit) on the Malden/Melrose town line.

andykowalczyk
Bromfield Camera at Downtown Crossing is a little further, but may be in your range for that afternoon you are ditching from the conference :)
It's also closer to the touristy things you are likely to want to take pictures of. john_shriver
The Calumet store is near the Lechmere end of the Green Line MBTA subway line that the Hynes is also on. They have lots of refrigerated film. Closed Sundays, but finally open Saturdays. Hunt's has the advantage that all their stores are open Sunday. They started as Hunt Drug, and being a drug store, could avoid the blue laws then in effect and be open Sundays. Until the blue laws crumbled in the late 1980's, it was the ONLY place in the area to buy film on a Sunday. Plenty of press photographers used to run there when they ran out of film. There's also E. P. Levine on the South Boston waterfront, definitely a pro shop, M-F 9-5 only. I would be very surprised if any Ritz branch has 120 film.
stwrtertbsratbs5
Hunt's in Kenmore Sq is convenient. But generally I order my film from bhphoto.com.
jordan_w.
I had no idea there was a Hunt's in Kenmore Square. Is that new? Anyway, if Hunt's doesn't work out, Calumet in East Cambridge will be your best bet.
