What did you shoot this weekend? (Dec 1-2, '07)

That 1st Quarter was ugly but our Warriors came back! Off to the Sugar Bowl.

Colt Brennan tosses his second of five touchdowns. He went 42 or 50 for 442 yards and no picks. Everyone in Hawaii thinks he should get the Heisman.<div></div>

Rookie Quarterback Jake Locker. This kid can sure run, can't pass too well yet.<div></div>

Jason Rivers pulls in a touchdown pass in the 2nd Quarter. He had 167 yards and 4 touchdowns. Huge game for the NFL-bound Senior.<div></div>

Junior Davone Bess (7). He made a rare mistake and dropped this ball in the end zone but I liked this shot. Bess will also end up in the NFL.<div></div>

And of course... SURFING.

Hmmm, I thought I set this up as a "What Did You Shoot This Weekend" thread. Did it get changed or did I screw up?

Man-O-man chuck, anytime the Huskies get beat it's a good day!!. I've always like Hawaii football so that helped. Nice shots!

Spoken like a true Wazzu Fan! It was a great win for the whole State of Hawaii. We love this team. On to the Sugar Bowl!

I can't wait to see the Sugar Bowl, it's on my must see list.

We will see what our poor little WAC team can fare against those big bad SEC boys.

Those are great Ralph, especially the last one.

I agree with Michael. That last shot is great. As for posting sports shots on the Critique Forum, I rarely get get good ratings there for my football or surfing shots. I post 'em anyway, what the heck!

But, Michael, your white balance still looks a bit too warm to me. I opened one of your JPEGs in Camera Raw and dialed the Temperature down some and the Tint down a tiny bit and I think they look more natural. (Temp -20 and Tint -8 but I have no idea how that translates to the actual adjustment to a RAW file. It looks like you get a different scale when opening a JPEG)

Chuck I figured that out. I know what I had been doing. On my D200 I had bumped the saturation up to +2 or enhanced, something like that when I shoot my landscapes. Under the basketball lights it was giving me clown colors. So I found out it wasn't so much the white balance as it was the saturation and arena lights.
