i think there is always some mysterious magic to blur images. i know that they are not kindly received around photo.net, but to prove my point i will use my favorite painter gerhard richter who made in his early years paintings from blurred photoimages. the blurry image conveys something else as well besides its out of focus nature, the human condition, a gaze of life. i like your image a lot !, it seems more real to me then if it were sharp.

gerhard's sample :

Eric, your photo is super - there's mystery there - it draws me in and causes me to

wonder. The other photos here are excellent as well.

This is about the best I can do... Like Emre, I'd really like to pursue creating more photos

like this - but discipline seems to get in the way...
What a great way to come home, definitely some great images here folks!

Beau, that is distracting to me too, its a cigarette, and thought about attempting to photoshop it, but my skills are poor. And I love that cross walk shot.

K, thanks for the detailed reply. I became intrigued years ago when some of my first frames on a roll, used to advance onto the take up spool, where satisfying.

Ed, I love the tones Vs. shapes going on in your first one. The diagonal tie in

Emre, Jeff has a few that would fit in here, but

Jeff, I love this current shot, also you have another that pops to mind that struck me months ago, I think it was a walker with a purple umbrella being shot through a wet window..?

RJ Fox, that is stunning! IMHO, thats best in show!

Brad, thanks man. But you neednt be humble, Ive seen so many great pieces from you! You did one that would place nicely about your brain on something weeks ago, if I remember correctly
