It was reported, and supposedly taken care of earlier today, but unfortunately it is back...
The Vundo is installing on your computer when viewing the photo gallery section.

Free software from Microsoft "Windows Defender" instantly detected presence of the Vundo and removed it from my system. It required computer re-boot.

Unless you have a better anti virus, download and install Windows Detender from Microsoft, The basic form of it is free, not sure if free forever ? but works OK on Vundo.
Run scan of your computer after visiting photo.net, until is removed again...

In your computer lookup services installed in the Startup event. You may discover a mistery process scheduled to run every hour. Inspect all services in the services list. Make sure you know if it is one of your applications, or Disable for a while and see if anything breaks. Contact Microsoft if in doubt.

This happened on a netbook computer with Default Privacy and Default Security settings, guarded and removed by Windows Defender. These default browser settings are Microsoft recommended and allow a lot of flexibility and many types of add-on, cookies, etc.

If you use credit card purchases from your computer, or banking, you need set High security and privacy and do not wonder to unkown sites, but that limits a lot what you can see and download/upload from Internet, receiving and sending forms, etc.. Seems that we need 2 computers, one at highest protection to do you banking and purchases and limitted browsing, and another of relaxed scrutiny to browse uncharted waters. However even known and reliable sites like photo.net can become victim of hackers.

I talked to tech gurus in my work place, and unfortunately the Vundo was already well known as a nasty virus, difficult to remove. If your computer slows down on startup or at hourly periods, or any time ?. Vundo delegate process could be scanning your hard disk at that time. If shows blank screen or something else like "out-of-context" advertising? time to have a closer look at your Internet protection measures.
