November 1963 wasn't the best month ever.
I liked the comparison of formats, although they forgot to say what film was used. Below half-frame, it is easy to spot the grain, but not the cameras.
"Behind the scenes" featured Soviet cameras. It tells us about the "unspectacular" Zenit 3M, my main camera for a lot of years and a loyal mate that never needed service..
The Wolbarst piece on using glasses and SLRs is excellent. I wish I had read this when I started needing lenses many years ago.Eyesight and glasses took me out of photography until I figured out the problem by myself.
We tend to forget how important slides were at the time for 35mm photography. Just look at all the space given to projectors in a pre-Christmas issue.
