Turtle ID

  1. Can anyone id this turtle? It's in South-Central Pennsylvania (Harrisburg area), and the turtles I normally see in this location are Eastern Painted, Red-eared slider, and snapper. This doesn't look like any of those to me. Closest I can come is 'Common Mud Turtle,' but it doesn't look quite like those pics either.

  3. Turtle was identified by a local expert as a 'common musk turtle.'
