Thumbtack - Anyone getting any business from it?

<p>I've been on the local Thumbtack site for 6 or 7 months now and am a Gold level member - whatever that's worth.</p>

<p>I've submitted bids for dozens of jobs but never gotten so much as a nibble on any of them - I'm reasonably priced - slightly above the typical CL poster, but below the high end shooters. </p>

<p>I don't think it's my work or sales - since I'm getting plenty of both - but just wondering if others have used it and what your experience has been? Also wondering based on the number of submitted bids for work - is it just an extension of Craigslist? Are the buyers there expecting CL type pricing?</p>

<p>I have been using it for 9 months. Had one prospective meeting out of responding to many requests. My pricing is reasonable as well... even after a major price increase this month. I tend to think that most using Thumbtack are more concerned with price than quality or reputation.</p>
