bandannaman
Can anyone recommend a good DVD on studio photography? I just don't have the cash for a college or on-line school yet.
Matt Laur
Which aspect of studio photography are you interested in? Portraiture? Product photography? Being a lighting assistant? Hair/makeup? Video post-production? The selling/business/licensing/contracts side of things? The web is full of great tutorials and videos showing how things are done. If you mention which area is talking to you, you'll probably get some great links from members here. I hesitate to start throwing some out there yet, because it's not clear just what you're looking for.
bandannaman
Sorry I wasn't more clear, my main goal is portraiture with an emphasis on low key lighting. I have watched some you tube clips but I think more of starting from beginner to advanced would be nice, more of a structured approach. I have read a few books on the matter but actually watching an explanation of the steps and working with the equipment would be a good perspective.
devon_mccarroll
Not sure what your budget is, but could you afford $195? If so, this would be a really good course, but you have to have the equipment. http://www.ppsop.com/stud1.aspx
