Speos Photographic Institute in Paris

<p>I was thinking about applying for their Professional Photography Masters Program but I have looked back on previous threads that mention Speos and there is very little information regarding this photography school. Does anyone have any experience with the school or with other photographers that graduated from speos? Any info on this is appreciated. </p>

I just graduated from Speos (full time program 32 weeks ended last june). The school is great, no question about that. You will learn so much whether you choose photojournalism or studio specialization. Teachers are professionals in their own field and, providing you can keep up with the amount of work (there is a lot to do in one year), you will end up with enough skills to be professional photographer by the end of the program.<br>

As for an example, you will have John Schults as photojournalism teacher. He is the Director of photo desk at Reuters News Pictures in Paris. As far as printing technics is concerned you will have Philippe Bachelier who develops films for Salgado and concerning Visual Identity course, Bernard Derenne is in charge. He worked at Gamma for 24 years as the agency's main editor and is the cofounder of the gallery <a href="http://www.chambre-avec-vues.com/" target="_blank">Chambre avec Vues</a> .<br>
