Happy Christmas to all.

Here's a panorama of the Oxford skyline I took near dusk a couple of days ago with the 500mm lens.

<a title="Skyline, take 2" href=" Skyline, take 2 data-flickr-embed="true">

Eight frames merged to panoroma in Photoshop (A7 and Minolta AF Reflex 500mm f/8)

Here's the same viewpoint taken earlier as an HDR photo

<a title="Oxford skyline, with cranes" href=" Oxford skyline, with cranes data-flickr-embed="true">
(A7 and Konica Hexanon AR 50mm f/1.4)

The panorama printed at 300dpi would make a print nearly 8 feet wide by 15 inches high ...

Sony A7, FE 28/2, 1/125s, f/5.6, ISO 1250
<a title="Los Olivos General Store" href=" Los Olivos General Store data-flickr-embed="true">

Sony A7, FE 70-200/4G OSS at 200mm, f/22, 1/5s, ISO 100. Only a light wind going, so I took a bit of a chance shooting handheld at 1/5s to get the full circle blur (at 1/15s, the windmill blades are still distinct). Image ended up 3 stops overexposed but was salvageable in post.
<a title="The Aermotor" href=" The Aermotor data-flickr-embed="true">
