www.antiquecameras.net
I have created a new guide for Rolleiflex 6x6 Twin Lens Reflex Cameras
However, due to the complexity of model lines and variations, comments and corrections are welcome. There are MANY different Rolleiflex models out there !
Thanks
Dan

robert_marvin
looks good, but "Rolleiflex 2.8C w/Meter" must be a typo. What had you intended to write?
nemeng
I with most of it, except for the price for the "2.8F" models, which are far too optimistically low. FWIW suggest $1000-1400 instead. (Yes they are hideously overpriced!)
nemeng
Typo. Make that, "I _agree_ with most of it..."
jim_thompson6
Dan, I would say that your estimates for both the Rolleiflex A 2.8 Tessar and B 2.8 Biometar are low, especially the Biometar. Given there rarity, I would say $275-700 for the 2.8 A and starting at $1500 for the 2.8 B. Good work, and thanks for creating the list. jim_mcbride
Hi, Dan. Thanks for putting this together. I have started to accumulate some Rolleiflexes for actual use. It is the camera I used when I first started in photography and now I am going back to them. Yes, I am crazy.
tito sobrinho
Dan, a labor of love! I would like for you to incorporate the total number of the produced Rolleiflex Standard New (Neu) on the list...8,340 units (Claus Prochnow, Rollei Report I & II). Due to its rarity, I would think it should be worth much more than the Old Standard.
www.antiquecameras.net
Thanks for everyone's help. I have verified and changed some items based on your input - thanks. Tito, I did find a new standard for sale at $ 175 at a dealer and a beat up one on ebay at $ 92 ! If you can point me to some sales that are higher, I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Dan
tito sobrinho
Dan: My comment, was not about a New Standard's value but the numbers in which they were produced. Since you wrote...Old Standard about... 95,000. Mind you, just as a suggestion. It would be correct if you could add "8,340 units produced" to your wonderful list. (Claus Prochnow- Rollei Report I & II) Parker & Evans give us a serial # range for the New Standard as being from 805,000 to 927,999, and this means a lot of New Standard produced from 1939-1941 which amounts to 122,999. However, the serial number for the Automat 3 and the New Standard run cuncurrently. However, the error continues on all the Rolleiflexes' lists up to now. PS: If you'd like, I can send you the Xerox page from the Rollei Report.
