processing ektachrome-x slide film

Recommended Posts

Hello

my sincere apologies if this question has been answered elsewhere ...

i havent been able to find it.

i have an old slide film of my fathers that appears to be unprocessed.

the details on the film are:

kodak

ektachrome-x

colour slide film

process e-2 or e-4

daylight or blue flash

ex 135-20

asa 64 - 19 din

20 exposures

24 x 36mm

i was wondering if anyone could advise where i could get this film

processed? i tried to do so 10 years ago and the only places seemed

to be in U.S. which at the time i wasnt too delighted about, seeing

it as a risk to send the film all that way (im in the UK).

however, i have done precisely nothing about it in the 10 years since

and am now ready to take the risk!

i would be an awful lot happier if there WERE somewhere in the UK

that could handle it but i was wondering if anyone could suggest

where i could start?

thanks a lot

danny

manchester, uk

Rocky Mountain may just be your only choice left. Search photo.net and you should be able to see that they are generally considered reliable and trustworthy. Between UPS and FedEx, the risk of international shipping has become almost negligible; I'd trust FedEx more sending a package to Pakistan than snail-mail across town (about a month ago we were presented - anonymously - with a cardboard box filled with over a month's worth of soggy, moldy USPS First-Class Mail [shudder]).
