alexandergusev
Please write about your experience of using both of scanners, if you have such. I mean Primefilm 3650u and Primefilm 7250u. Edited August 3, 2021 by alexandergusev
rodeo_joe1
I have the Primefilm 3650 pro. It's a well-made scanner that delivers sharp scans. The software supplied is only adequate, and you'd be better off getting Vuescan to use with it. I believe the 7250 is basically the same scanner using interpolation to give a higher number of pixels, but I don't own one, so I can't say if there's any difference in image quality. In any case, 3600ppi is more than enough for most film, which is limited by its grain or dye-cloud structure.
