PuntaColorada
There are no rules as to how you apply your post processing to this image; but, please let us know what you have done so we can all learn. If you would like to post a candidate image next week, please ensure it is of sufficiently high resolution for manipulation by the participants (3000px on the long side, 300dpi for example). Most of all, let's have fun while we are learning or demonstrating how we use our post-processing software, imaginations and interpretations. Not a job for someone who suffers from vertigo. As always in Uruguay construction, 'Safety First'!
mikemorrell
"Safety First!' :D (Pity PN doesn't have any emoi for ROFL). Just want to say that IMHO this is a wonderful photo! As a documentary: painting concrete seems a pretty pointless exercise. By the looks of it, it's very haphazard. Yet he's risking life and limb to do it! For PN the ínterpretations are endless. One of your very best! Mike Not a job for someone who suffers from vertigo. As always in Uruguay construction, 'Safety First'! mikemorrell
My first variation (graffiti painter); Graffiti courtesy of Michael Gaida at pixabay.com (via needpix.com). Due diligence failed to find this photo at pixabay.com. Google (and Needpix.com) flagged the photo a it as 'free to re-use non-commercially with modification'. I'll recommend Michael's Pixabay gallery in a separate thread. The text in the graffiti is to me abhorrent.
frans_waterlander
The text should read: "I'll be sober, but you'll still be ugly" PC? Heck no. It's humor, Mike; light up!
michaellinder
Initially I made the decision to use a square crop via PSE15, and then used the dodging tool on the worker, similar to Mike's version. Then, I opened a photo of NYC graffiti, following which I opened the clone stamp tool at 100% opacity so I could copy and paste some of the graffiti into Punta's wonderful challenge image. I finished using PSE's sharpness at 15%.
michaellinder
#2 Retained the square crop. Basically, used blur and sharpen tools selectively. Also used dodge/burn tools and then used sponge tool for selectively desaturating an saturating.

tom_r
Disturbing, yet colorful, abstract created by cropping a portion of the building and sending it to Topaz Glow. Flaming Pear Zephyr applied along with saturation adjustments in PS.
PuntaColorada
First, I corrected the exposure. The camera metered off the wall. Then I put on the text, lowered its' opacity and used a light grey mask to make the left side as if it had a thick coat of Uruguay's best paint put over it ;).
