f_k2
I'm looking for some software to basically create a nice web gallery for me to upload to the internet, not the ones where people can right click and download my photos. I'm also interested in software for wedding photography that display proofs for ordering. Thanks.
sunrisers
There are a number of web hosting sites you can chooose from. Depending on what you want to achieve, how many images you plan on uploading, what size, etc, etc and what you are willing to pay will drive your decision. If you just want to share photo's for instance, Yahoo might work for you. Then there are others a little more 'upscale' and expensive (like photo.net) or collages.net (good for weddings), smugmug.com, ifp3.com. Most allow you to 'test drive' them for free for a few days. If you are a a MAC user, Iweb may also be an option. good luck
f_k2
Thanks Graham, actually I just browsed through the forum and read about Jalbum and simpleviewer. I'm looking for flash based gallery softwares.
Spearhead
I like Jalbum, but I worry more about how it looks than what technology it uses. If I were a software engineer, maybe I would want Flash, but I'm a photographer, I prefer something that gives me a lot of flexibility and good-looking galleries. If you're worried about people lifting your photos, that can happen with flash too. Music and Portraits Blog: Life in Portugal
roger_smith4
I like Simpleviewer admin although you need to manually add galleries. http://www.jingai.com/photography/

bart
zenphoto.org has been my favorite for quite a while now
mark newcombe www.mcnphoto
Another vote for Jalbum and also fotoplayer a flash skin that works with Jalbum to create flash galleries easily. Foto player has a free version and a paid with the only difference being a shopping cart in the paid which works really well.
mberndsen_berndsen
I would like to recommend Amara Flash Slideshow Builder which creates Flash albumns and slideshows and since they are flash you can no right clikc on them and copy them the same company offers also a low cost option to create virtual tours

Enjoy!

Menno
Brad_
At the moment, I like the galleries Lightroom produces.
Here's a sample web gallery of some snaps from a couple weeks ago.
Super easy to generate, too. Just click a button and the html/flash files are generated automatically and then uploaded to your server via a built-in FTP client. Couldn't be easier...
I suspect there will be more web templates coming in the future, though with the current set there is pretty good flexibility. www.citysnaps.net
