peter_langfelder
I haven't seen this discussed, apologies if I missed something. According to <adpreview (<ahref="http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/olympussp560uz/page8.asp">link), the560UZ can make you smile even if you frown... or vice versa. I suppose it's alogical continuation of the "wait for the smile" mode. If you can't make themsmile for the camera, the camera will make them smile for you.
I guess the meaning of "camera" will continue to evolve from aphotographic (i.e. light-recording) instrument to something that createsimages based loosely on recorded light but with liberal amounts of creativeintervention and substitution. Grey clouds will become blue skies, a pavedparking lot in the background will become a flowery meadow, overweight bodieswill be shrunk to lean athletic shapes... all in the name of "better photos".Will photographs in the future depict what what the camera saw, or what wewanted it to see?
