I haven't seen this discussed, apologies if I missed something. According to link), the 560UZ can make you smile even if you frown... or vice versa. I suppose it's a logical continuation of the "wait for the smile" mode. If you can't make them smile for the camera, the camera will make them smile for you. I guess the meaning of "camera" will continue to evolve from a photographic (i.e. light-recording) instrument to something that creates images based loosely on recorded light but with liberal amounts of creative intervention and substitution. Grey clouds will become blue skies, a paved parking lot in the background will become a flowery meadow, overweight bodies will be shrunk to lean athletic shapes... all in the name of "better photos". Will photographs in the future depict what what the camera saw, or what we wanted it to see?
