mattvardy
Hi all, I think it would be nice to have a 'notify me of comments' option on our portfolio. I think most of us rarely scroll down to the bottom of our own portfolio; some people aren't even aware that this comment section exists. I try to check for new feedback often, but it would be more convenient and helpful to have an e-mail notification option. Possible?

mottershead
Sure its possible. Its even a good idea. As a friend of mine used to say, its just "SMOP", a Small Matter of Programming.
nomade
ok about the "SMOP" (hehe... good one!), it's understandable the problem. I agree with Matt about the requirement. Can I make an additional suggestion? Usually there are portfolios' comments like "why did you left me a x/x rate on my s**t photo?", specially in the past, before the rating system came back to its semi-anonymous format. When it's usually a single image, the photographer can delete it, and reload. Or ask to abuse@... section for a consideration of removal of such comments. But that's not usually the case for the comments on the portfolio. So, in orther to save work to p.net staff and for "cleaner" portfolios' comments section, here's my proposal: to let the owner of the portfolio to moderate those comments, like it were a guestbook, more than a critique section. Of course, the other option is to delete the comments on portfolio section...
