patricks
Never opened one issue even - is it any good?
carl smith
Granted I don't own a modern Nikon body, but I don't find the magazine provided me with any earth shattering information. If any big book stores near you carries it go check one out. Borders or Barnes and Noble for example might have it. I'm not sure as I've never looked. Some stores have a bigger selection than others. alex_lofquist
I formerly subscribed to it, but found it uninspiring. Copies from 15-20 years ago were not too bad. As to dedicated camera magazines, I would think that "Leica Fotographie" (European edition) and "Minolta Mirror" are the ones to aspire to. Palouse
I agree--it's rather uninspiring. Mostly hype, very glossy. Their bookkeeping (or whatever passes for that) is horrendous! Save your money for something else--like becoming a Photonet patron!!!!
hudsonphotos
Skip Nikon World. The issues are thin and really don't contain anything of interest to me. They feature some good photographers but you could see the same images on the net. Save your money for film.

ShunCheung
The "news" in Nikon World is typically a couple of months behind what we learn from the Internet. It is essentially Nikon advertistment but you need to pay for it.
patricks
That takes care of that. Don't even need to drag myself down to B&N to find out... ;-) Thanks guys!
jerry_lehrer
Patrick As long as the local Nikon dealer gives me a free issue every time, why buy it? I spend enough money on Nikon stuff there. Jerry
john_bald
What a disappointment Nikon World was for me. The issues are small and resemble marketing brochures. Wow, another Coolpix model, yahoo.
jerry_lehrer
John (and Patrick) That is why the Nikon dealers give them free to Nikon customers. Jerry
tina_bennett
Thank you for the Nikon Magazine feedback! I think the best education Photo Magazine is Peterson's Photo Graphic, Digital Photography Guide. Not full of Adds and every Issue is one a different Photo Subject. You will Learn so much from it! You can not subscribe to it, you have to go into the book store and buy it when it comes out every 3 months. Will stick to this one :)<div></div>
