blake_abbott
I have (actually.."had")both Picture Project and Nikon View installed and havenever been able to get View to "autostart" when I insert a card into the readerOR hook the D200 directly to the computer via USB.
In preferences, I have the box checked for 'automatically launch' and I haveread the help files and the Readme textfile that came with the program.
I uninstalled Picture Project thinking there might be a conflict between it andView, but still no luck.
Any ideas? frank_skomial
The problem may be not with Nikon software, but with you USB port configurations on your computer ? If you have more USB ports, try other ports. Try a different USB device with your ports, e.g. USB mouse, USB keyboard etc. Possibly, your D200 is set not in the USB storage device, and being set as USB controlled device, it will not auto start. Try to reconfigure USB ports, or assign the driver again, see if the port is activated or not, etc. Then USB cable ...can you try a different ? leicaglow
I had the same problem after I upgraded to ACDSee Pro Manager. You'd think it would at least show up on the removable device list, but it completely wiped out that entry for some reason. I just live with ACDSee as my default.
