steven_gibbs
I've just won on eBay what is described, and pictured, as a Nikon N-1 spot exposure meter. It's an exposure meter with cable to provide spot sensoring (or so it seems!). My trouble is that I can't find any information at Nikon, or any other site, about the item. I was wondering whether anyone has ever come across this item before or know how I can access information? Help please!
david_h._hartman
Is the Nikon N1 the same camera as the Nikon N80 is the US and F80 in much of the world? I guess from your post youre not sure what it is. I know of no Nikon N-1 hand held light meter. Regards, Dave.
Edwin Barkdoll
The N-1 spotmeter was used with the Nikon Multiphot to make incident measurements from the large format ground glass. I purchased an N-1 on eBay a year (?) ago. It was DOA and subsequently a PITA! It takes a 1.3 V mercury cell Type H-D which are no longer available although converters can be used (I have an unused one if you want to purchase one!). Good luck. Edwin Barkdoll
ps I hope the N-1's serial number is not 100100 since that was the number of DOA one. Test
