mike_elek
It's a boy ... or maybe it's a girl. It's the Baby Box Tengor. Arrived in the mail today. It's in overall very nice condition. The leather is a little loose near the film advance post. Lens needs cleaned, of course. It appears to have one shutter speed: 1/25 and one f/stop (f/11) on its Frontar lens. It has accidental exposure prevention. The frame finder must be pulled up to allow the shutter to be used. The camera takes 127 film. So maybe I'll fast-track this camera and put it to the head of the line for restoration.<div></div>
mike_elek
As you can see, it's less that double the height of a 35mm film cartridge. Very diminutive. I wonder how the bokeh is!<div></div>
gib
looks like the camera for the Addams Family kids
pensacolaphoto
J and C Photo have 127 film, Mike. Do you use color or B&W?
mike_elek
I loaded it with some Maco 127 b/w. 16 shots to a roll.

mskovacs
Is that with the Frontar lens? About as classy as box cameras get.

mike_elek
Yes, it's the famous Goerz Frontar (a meniscus). One aperture f/11 and two shutter speeds 1/25 and B. I should have this roll finished tomorrow. I'm finally starting to process some of my backlogged film (about eight or nine rolls scattered around the house). The inside of the shutter was surprisingly pristine. Total cost was about $12. One of those rare good deals. I think this should have a lot of Diana-like atmosphere to it. It even has two tripod sockets for horizontal and vertical. We're in the middle of yet another snowstorm -- not New England-style -- but I'm ready for a bit of spring weather.
