summitar
Have I gone completely blind, or is it a fact that there is no Minolta forum? Is this now the forum to post film using Minolta questions? Are there stillloyal SRT, XE, and XD users out there?
Jochen_S
The forum name starts with Sony now. About the folks: probably somehow yes.
craig_h1
It's listed under Sony/Minolta now & it's mostly digital now. I shoot with an XK & an SRT-102. Craig
tri-x1
There are a number of Minolta collecters on the Collectors Forum http://cameracollector.proboards30.com/index.cgi
ralf_j.
you can also try a group I am member of, the manual minolta yahoo group. It's awesome and it is being run by Joe McGloin. I shoot with an X-700 and SRT-102 myself, most of the time that is. A Hi-Matic 7S II makes it in my camera bag most of the time ;-) since it is so small... http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/Minolta-Manual-Focus/
Brian
If your Minolta camera is pre-1970, this is the forum. Post-1970, then the Sony Minolta forum is the one. This site has a Canon FD forum so you'd think in the interests of even-handedness there would be a Minolta MC/MD forum as well, but there isn't. (Canon somehow escaped the Greenspun rule of abolishing redundant forums.)

Andrew in Austin
Excellent - my 1965 Minolta Autocord I TLR should fit right in with the renamed forum. By the way, it delivers twelve, 6x6 RAW exposures that once converted into permanent negs in the darkroom are a joy to behold on a light table. todd frederick
Thanks for the link to the Camera Collector forum. Looks good. I have a beautiful SRT101b that is in black enamel, special leather, and converted battery system. Excellent.
john falkenstine
Still have my Minolta STR201. Bought it brand new with a 50mm lens at LaBelle's catalog showroom in Tucson. Price: $53.00! Still works fine. (LaBelle's is long gone).
ricardovaste
Its sad to think somebody had mistaken and thought minolta had been banished to the 'Classic Cameras' of no return, as, its the inevitable truth now of course.
