Light Ignition HardBox for Profoto

<p>Have you tried this third party light modifier? Does it replicate the results of the Profoto HardBox #505720? Any fit and finish issues? I understand the Profoto version fits on all of their monolights and flash heads unlike the Light Ignition?</p>

<p>One can recreate the hardbox with black tin foil. All you are paying here or Profoto is a nice looking metal housing that looks professional. A Black box is a black box. It is all physics</p>

<p>Must be a non-seller. I have not seen any used Profoto HardBoxes on eBay.</p>

<p>Anyone tried any of Light Ignitions other products? $500 for a knockoff hard box is pretty steep. I am interested in hard box and the telezoom.<br /><br /><br>

Just out of curiosity: what do you think is the actual cost(minus research etc) to manufacture some of the light shapers including magnum, telezoom and beauty dish.</p>
