jt
I was just flicking through the 'top photos' pages and noticed thatsome of the 'thumbnails' are not really thumbnail sized any more -maybe 400-500px across. Most photos seem to be displayed at the smallsize that I'm used to, but if you click through a few pages you'll seethe odd ones - mostly panormaic but there's one or two with 'normal'aspect ratios too. It makes it difficult to see things on a 1024x768 monitor (lots ofhorizontal scrolling needed) ... just wondering if it's intentional orsomething that's gone wrong? maxz
I brought up this subject a while ago since I thought of it as a bug. But it turns out that this is a documented "feature". If the photo uploaded is smaller than 267 pixels in one dimension it is not rescaled, otherwise it is rescaled so that the maxium dimensions are 200 pixels.

Personally I think that this is wrong since it screws up the concept of thumbnails, but I have not yet gotten a reply from the maintainers. I guess that it is quite some work going through all the pictures and rescaling the one that are bad.
