jo7hs2
Hey folks, Does anybody know who to contact at Amazon to get them to correct Product Details? They currently have Kodachrome KR-64 listed as "Discontinued by manufacturer: Yes" on their listing for the item. I'd hate to see rumors get spread because Amazon's listing is inaccurate. They have a way to edit some of the technical details as a user, but not this particular portion. I can't find a "Contact Us" kind of thing, either. http://www.amazon.com/Kodak-Kodachrome-64-Film-Daylight/dp/tech- data/B0000520IT/ref=de_a_smtd

iancoxleigh
This is showing as "Availability: In Stock. Ships from and sold by Adorama Camera" for me.
randrew1
Now it says: "Availability: In Stock. Ships from and sold by Ace Photo Digital. Only 4 left in stock--order soon." Since most of the people still shooting Kodachrome are enthusiasts, I'm hoping they will realize Amazon is not a good source for news about product availability. jo7hs2
Ron, I would hope so too, but I'd hate to think that people didn't buy the stuff because they thought is was discontinued, only to create a self-fulfilling prophecy. Ian, yes they are switching back and forth between suppliers every few times I load the page. But I was referring to the line in the product details, not the stock message. iancoxleigh
Sorry, missed that line.
ed_farmer
Ordering from Amazon is exactly like ordering from Adorama, which an enthusiast would consider to be a fine choice. I didn't check prices to see if they are the same from both websites. Ed
jo7hs2
Ed, I'm not sure what you are getting at. The point was that they've erroneously listed the item as discontinued... The prices are the same, if I recall correctly, btw.
profhlynnjones
Sorry guys, but I'm sure that I saw a PMA newsletter that Kodak just said they were discontinuing Kodachrom very shortly. Like you, I hope not! Lynn
profhlynnjones
It's me again, Kodak it listing 35mm K64, but I'm not seening the 120 product or the the K200. Lynn
jo7hs2
Lynn, Kodak hasn't made 120 sized Kodachrome for a few years now. Kodachrome 200 (KL-200) was discontinued this year, and supplies dried up in the fall. As far as anyone knows, Kodachrome 64 (KR-64 & PKR-64) will not be discontinued in the near future.
