Japan Market

<p>I am a professional photojournalist based in Colorado, I have been asked to quote out a price for usage of an image of mine to run in a street/subway printed and posted in and around Tokyo, Japan. Does anyone have an idea on what to price it at. Thanks Tom </p>

I'll have a go at this one seeing as I spend a lot of time up in Japan. The prices their photographers seem to get for most usages is pretty much on a par with the US, at least it seems to me to be that way speaking to friends who work as photographers in Japan. So if you use something like Fotoquote or Pickerells that should be a good start. Or log on to the Getty site and see what they would charge to give you even more of an idea.</p>
