Interesting Locations in Danmark, August

Hello, I will probably be in Danmark in August, travelling by Motorhome with my

family. As a passionate naturalist and nature photographer I would like to know

if there are any places that we cannot miss... We will probably visit Dyrehaben

near Copenhagen, but what else? Thank you, Marco

Go to Helsingoer. Nice little city with a very big castle (called Kronenborg or the "Hamlet Castle") right on the seashore.

Another beatifull city is Roskilde. Beautiful Cathedral (where Danish kings were buried for centuries). Another interesting spot are the Viking ship museaum right next to the Fjord.

If you like churches and small fishing harbours, Denmark has an abundance of those. Just leave the main roads and go to the countryside and to the coast (actually this is not that difficult, because Denmark has more coastline than anything else...)

unfortunately I cannot help you with birds, because I do not do that kind of photography.
