Central Camera, the iconic photo store in the Chicago Loop, was looted and burned in the riots following the George Floyd death in Minneapolis. News reports say that the owner promised to rebuild. 2. Elsa Dorfman died in Cambridge, MA. Dorfman was known for her very large format portraits made with one of the extremely rare 20x24" Polaroid cameras.
