nels
A company in Canada has approached me through my site to use one of my images in their brochure in both print and electronic (PDF) format to make a one time limited run, for the purpose of training their internal employees. Being not experienced with the business aspects of photography, could someone please advise on the type of licensing agreement form that I should make them sign before supplying my image by e-mail? Should I make them fax the agreement to me or is an e-mail from the company stating that they agree to the attached terms and conditions enough? The image has no property/model releases, and features a small but prominent logo of a boutique store in it. Are there any implications related to this I should be concerned about? Given that the usage will be locally restricted to Canada, are there any other issues that I should consider, being based in the US? I've tried searching online for such forms but come up with either irrelevant or excessively long and complicated forms. Thanks.
