Image size with Hasselblad polaroid backs

<p>I've searched for this and I think I have my answer but would appreciate confirmation from the experts here: Do all the Polaroid backs for Hasselblad cameras capture 6x6 cm images on the instant film? <br>

Specifically I am interested in the Polaroid Basic and Polaroid Plus.<br>

I believe they do capture full 6x6 frame, albeit some (or all) are off-centered images?</p>

Backs can only record what the camera presents them with. The maximum size of the image that can be recorded is set by the size of the film gate of the camera. So yes: 6x6 on instant film, in all instant film backs available.

<p>I think the confusion with these questions comes from a Nikon back that magnified the image onto a full size (3x4") Polaroid film. I wish more people had experimented with this type of back.</p>

<p>My question was really about whether the image would be cropped smaller than 6x6, to which the answer is "no". I realize that my Hasselblad won't project larger than 6x6 onto a Polaroid back.<br /><br />Thank you both for your help.</p>
