Image file size for the store

<p>As far as I know, whatever giant file you upload, it will end up on photo.net with a maximum dimensions of 1500x1000. Upload anything larger (even 1501x1000) and it will be downsized and compressed before it's stored.</p>

<p>So the answer to your question would seem to be something smaller in dimensions than or equal to 1500x1000 pixels. As far as file size goes, I don't think files 1500x1000 or smaller get compressed, so you're probably looking at a file size of around 2MB for a low compression JPEG.</p>

<p>Note that files this big will break the photo.net "large image display" format. That breaks above about 930 pixels wide. Larger images will still display, but they will spill over the borders.</p>
