Jerry_
The 'new' film is Kodak Royal Gold 400 in a new package and with a new name. What is there to review?
bill_tuthill
The new film is edge coded HD400 and has much more accurate purples than old Royal Gold 400 did. Caveat: I haven't used RG 400 in years, -- it might have been revised to be the same as HD400. Hope I'm not insulting a photo.net member, if authored by one, in saying that this review is fairly content-free, and seems to be based primarily on PhotoCD scans. There are also some outright mistakes, i.e. "exposure latitude [is] similar to slide film rather than... print film" (it bleeds but holds color even at +6) and "this film excels in reproducing shadow details" (it is just average if you ask me).
