mary_ashworth
I own a Minolta Maxxum 300si with lens 35-70 and 70-210 and a Fujifilm S5100 finepix 4mp. I want to shoot sport (football) photos. My minolta will not focus manually or auto. What can be the problem? I tried a 2x converter and it would not focas man. or auto then when I took it off neither will my lens now, they did before the 2x convertor. And does all the Minolta lens fit the all Minolta camera?
Jerry_
If you are planning to shoot at night football games (i.e., local high school type of events,) you need something like a 135mm f2 lens or a 300mm f2.8 lens, a monopod, and the most powerful flash you can afford. The zooms are good for daytime games, but at night in high school lighting situations, the lenses you have are going to make life difficult.
