Hi everybody,

This is the beginning of winter, I love snow. So, I have a trip to Japan at this time. However, my camera is having trouble shooting when the weather is below 0 degrees Celsius.

When operating at temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius, the camera will not autofocus or focus mechanism but does not capture the subject.

Please help me!

That's not very cold. The 1D X should function well below 0-fahrenheit. I've stood beside 1D X users at -10-fahrenheit, with no issues.

The lenses play a big part of AF in the system. Do you have this trouble with all lenses? If so, there's something wrong with your body and only a repair shop, like Canon's, can fix it. If not, then one of your lenses has a problem.

In the Southern hemisphere, it's the end of summer. In the Northern hemisphere it's the end of winter. Where are you writing from?
