joseph_gallagher
I'm Sean and OK I'm in Paris but really from California. Just bragging about being in Paris because It is one of my favorite places. Unfortunately all I am armed with right now is a Canon Power Shot SD1000. This is better than nothing but I really miss my 7D which for some reason I thought was best to leave home. I registered some time ago but never chimed in as a new member. This site is great! My wife and I have been into Photography for some time now and are always learning from the members here. Her portfolio can be viewed at www.livierosephotography.com . We will be creating a portfolio here soon as well and look forward to feedback.
In my spare time I goof around with a small educational site for beginners. You can see it at www.lrcamera.com. It is a work in progress but some have found it helpful. Yes there are Amazon links on the site, but it is really not a serious source of income for me, just telling about myself. Promise not to post the site again. Don't want to be thought of as a spammer.
Anyway, we are impressed with the photos displayed on this site and level of expertise shown in the forums. We look forward to getting more involved.

joshroot
Nothing wrong with the Canon SD line of cameras. I have had a number of them over the years and they have served me well and traveled all over the world. Welcome to photo.net!
lintrathen
Hi and welcome to PN. I enjoyed your educational site although it is understandable that not all can understand the intricacies of Sony Technology (smiles). Joking aside though, I look forward to your contributions to this site.
Regards
