wigwam jones
http://www.reuters.com/article/marketsNews/idUST12308720070406 I find this amusing. doug_axford1
From what I read, this is industrial printers, but that would be an entry into wide format for photographers. I doubt they would plan consumer printers & compete head to head against the likes of Kodak! lol Doug
wigwam jones
You're probably right, Doug. It will be interesting to see who first dares to call it a stupid decision. Sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander and all that.
randmcnatt
Could be that they noticed how many of their Frontier clients are using Epson wide-format printers for wall-sized prints. I'd surmise that there's going to be more than a few sweetheart deals and specials in the coming months.
emre
Maybe it is because their Frontiers don't do wall-sized prints. Their RIPs need to handle profiles more readily. Shops tell customers to use sRGB because the printers choke on profiles.
